Data controller
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by KYS Power Transmission Parts ("KYS") as data controller, within the scope described below.

Personal data processed
Through this website, only the following data is processed, and only to the extent you send it to us:
- Identity and contact details: full name, company name, e-mail address, phone number, country
- Request details: your message, the products and quantities in your quote request, technical drawings or files you send
- Transaction security data: technical records that prevent misuse of the forms, and cookies needed for the site to work (details in the Cookie Policy)
Purposes of processing
- To receive and assess your contact and quote requests and to respond to you
- To prepare quotes, run the quotation process and provide pre-sales information
- To answer your questions about our products and services
- To ensure information security and prevent misuse of the site
- To fulfil our legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- It is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (quote requests and discussions)
- It is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligation
- It is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (responding to requests, information security)
Method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically and by automated means through the contact and quote forms on this website.
Transfers
Limited to the purposes above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to:
- Service providers from which we obtain hosting, e-mail and information technology services (some of these providers may have servers abroad)
- Public institutions and organisations legally authorised to request it, when they do so
Your personal data is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention period
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the retention periods laid down in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to KYS you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed
- Request information about it if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to which it has been transferred
- Ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- Ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK
- Ask for corrections, deletions or destructions to be notified to the third parties to which the data has been transferred
- Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing
How to apply
You can send requests concerning your rights in writing, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller and with information verifying your identity, to our address above or to bilgi@kys.com.tr. Your application is concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest; if the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
